Debbie Harry Inspiration

This Saturday I am taking one of the school camera's.

Then because I'm using Sophie Reynolds as my main female for the cover, I was thinking of a plain bright coloured background with an interesting prop.

I want to base her look on Debbie Harry's (Blondie) style, some of the pictures I liked and wanted to emulate are:

The Revolt

I have just heard some recent news that The Revolt will be playing at the Live Lounge on the 7th February.

I'm going to use this oppertunity to take a few photos for the gig posters.

Using the images in an interesting way and positioning the text overlapping the pictures slightly I could make this interesting to read and attractive.

Recently I attended an under 18's gig at the Live Lounge on sunday.
Overall the first few bands were pretty un-inspiring but the band that played last, The Revolt,
were the only band to really get the audience excited and on their feet.

I would really like the use this band in my magazine but the only problem is that they are a punk band and my magazine is based around old classic rock.

But I think I'll stick to my first idea and use a single female on the front cover and my friends band 'Too Many Humans' because they are more suited to the theme of my magazine.
Although I could use The Revolt to make a gig poster or maybe do an mini interview with them to appeal to a wider range of people.
